Ingredients
Scale
For the Sliders:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup onion, finely diced
- 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
- 6 cheddar cheese slices, halved
- 12 pickle slices
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
For the Special Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp relish
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Prepare the Sauce – In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Refrigerate to let the flavors meld.
- Cook the Beef – Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then cook it until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
- Assemble the Sliders – Slice the slider buns in half and lay the bottom halves on a baking sheet. Spread a layer of special sauce over them.
- Add the Beef – Evenly distribute the cooked ground beef over the buns, then sprinkle the diced onions on top.
- Melt the Cheese – Place cheese slices over the beef, ensuring full coverage.
- Bake the Sliders – Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Cover the sliders with the top buns, brush them with melted butter, and sprinkle sesame seeds over them. Bake for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden.
- Add Final Toppings – Remove from the oven and add shredded lettuce and pickles before serving.
- Serve Warm – Enjoy immediately for the best taste and texture.
Notes
- Spicy Kick – Add a dash of hot sauce or jalapeños to the sauce.
- Different Cheese Options – Swap cheddar for American, Swiss, or pepper jack cheese.
- Low-Carb Version – Serve the sliders as lettuce wraps instead of using buns.
- Turkey or Chicken – Substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
- Brioche Buns – Try using brioche slider buns for an even richer flavor.
