  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders 1x

Description

These sweet and savory honey mustard ham & cheese pretzel sliders combine smoky ham, gooey cheese, and a tangy homemade honey mustard sauce on buttery pretzel buns. Perfect for game day, parties, or a quick family meal!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 pretzel slider buns
  • 12 slices deli ham
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese, halved
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp poppy seeds
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare the Honey Mustard Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  3. Assemble the Sliders: Slice pretzel buns in half and place bottom halves in the baking dish. Spread a layer of honey mustard sauce on each bottom bun.
  4. Layer the Ham and Cheese: Evenly distribute ham slices over the buns, followed by Swiss and cheddar cheese slices.
  5. Top the Sliders: Place the top halves of the pretzel buns over the ham and cheese layers.
  6. Make the Butter Topping: Combine melted butter, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and poppy seeds in a small bowl.
  7. Brush and Bake: Generously brush the butter mixture over the tops of the sliders. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Uncover and Finish Baking: Remove foil and bake for another 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden brown.
  9. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle fresh parsley if desired. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Cheese Swap: Try provolone, gouda, or pepper jack instead of Swiss and cheddar.
  • Spicy Kick: Add hot sauce or horseradish to the honey mustard sauce.
  • Sweeter Option: Substitute honey with maple syrup.
  • Extra Crunch: Add crispy bacon for more texture.
  • Vegetarian Option: Replace ham with roasted mushrooms or grilled zucchini.
