Instructions

Step 1: Preparing the Dough

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the egg yolk and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. Blend in the pistachio paste until evenly distributed.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  6. Cover and refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.

Step 2: Baking the Cookies
