Potato Chip Toffee is the ultimate sweet and salty treat, combining crispy potato chips, rich buttery toffee, and melted chocolate for an irresistible dessert. Perfect for parties, gifts, or a quick snack, this easy recipe delivers a crunchy, indulgent experience in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag (8 oz) salted potato chips
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread potato chips evenly, slightly crushing them.

  3. Pour hot toffee over potato chips, spreading evenly with a spatula.
  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes until bubbly. Remove and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let melt for 2 minutes, then spread evenly. Optional: sprinkle with sea salt.
  5. Cool completely before breaking into pieces.
