  • 1 cup granulated sugar (divided)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine peaches, ½ cup granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Toss gently and transfer to the baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, remaining ½ cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in melted butter, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
