- 1 cup granulated sugar (divided)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon

- 1 tbsp lemon juice

- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine peaches, ½ cup granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Toss gently and transfer to the baking dish.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, remaining ½ cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in melted butter, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour batter evenly over the peaches. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Cool slightly before serving with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
