Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup milk
- 8 oz elbow pasta (or any short pasta)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onions and sauté until translucent, about 3 minutes. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in garlic.
- Add uncooked pasta and ranch seasoning, mixing well.
- Pour in beef broth and milk. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
- Use freshly shredded cheese for the creamiest texture.
- Adjust liquid as needed—add more broth or milk if pasta absorbs too much.
- Customize with diced tomatoes, jalapeños, or hot sauce for extra flavor.
