- ½ cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ cup heavy cream

- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup reserved pasta water
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp: 165°F).
- Remove from the pan and set aside.
Step 2: Make the Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits.
- Simmer for 2 minutes, then stir in the heavy cream.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
Step 3: Prepare the Parmesan Linguine
- Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and return to the pot, adding butter, Parmesan cheese, and reserved pasta water.
- Toss until cheese melts and coats the pasta. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
Step 4: Serve
- Plate the Parmesan linguine and top with the chicken.
- Drizzle with extra lemon garlic butter sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
