  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • ½ cup heavy cream
For the Parmesan Linguine:
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup reserved pasta water
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp: 165°F).
  3. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Step 2: Make the Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  2. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits.
  3. Simmer for 2 minutes, then stir in the heavy cream.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
Step 3: Prepare the Parmesan Linguine
  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain and return to the pot, adding butter, Parmesan cheese, and reserved pasta water.
  3. Toss until cheese melts and coats the pasta. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
Step 4: Serve
