- 4–6 black tea or green tea bags
- 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks (or ¾ cup pineapple juice)
- 2–4 tbsp honey, sugar, or a natural sweetener (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes, for serving
- Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Brew the Tea: Steep tea bags in boiling water for 5–7 minutes. Remove tea bags and let the tea cool slightly.
- Prepare the Pineapple Mixture: Blend fresh pineapple chunks until smooth. Strain through a fine sieve for juice. Skip this step if using store-bought pineapple juice.
- Sweeten the Tea: Stir honey or sugar into the warm tea until dissolved. Adjust sweetness as desired.
- Combine the Ingredients: In a large pitcher, mix brewed tea, pineapple juice, and lemon juice. Stir well.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves if desired.
