Description

These Homemade Crunch Wraps are a delicious and easy way to enjoy the famous Taco Bell classic at home. With layers of seasoned beef, creamy queso, crunchy tostadas, and fresh toppings wrapped in a soft tortilla and grilled to perfection, this recipe is the ultimate Tex-Mex treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 4 tostada shells
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter (for grilling)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef – In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease, add taco seasoning and water, and simmer until thickened.
  2. Warm the Tortillas – Heat tortillas for a few seconds in a pan or microwave to make them pliable.
  3. Assemble the Crunch Wraps
    • Spread a spoonful of nacho cheese sauce in the center of a tortilla.
    • Add a scoop of seasoned beef.
    • Place a tostada shell on top.
    • Spread sour cream over the tostada, then add lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
    • Fold the tortilla edges over the filling, working in a circular motion until fully wrapped.
  4. Grill to Perfection – Heat a skillet over medium heat with a little oil. Place the crunch wrap seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Flip and repeat.
  5. Serve and Enjoy – Slice in half and enjoy warm with your favorite dips or sauces!

Notes

  • Different Proteins – Swap ground beef for chicken, steak, or beans.
  • Spicy Kick – Add jalapeños or hot sauce inside.
  • Extra Cheese – Mix in Monterey Jack or Pepper Jack for more cheesy goodness.
  • Healthier Option – Use whole wheat tortillas and Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
