Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken
    • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
    • Season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Set Up the Breading Station
    • In one bowl, place flour.
    • In another bowl, whisk the eggs.
    • In a third bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, and minced garlic.
  3. Bread the Chicken
    • Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, shaking off excess.
    • Dip into the beaten eggs, ensuring full coverage.
    • Coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Cook the Chicken
    • Heat olive oil and butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
    • Sear the chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
    • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C).
