Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 racks pork ribs
  • ½ cup honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Ribs: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Rinse and pat dry with paper towels.
  • Make the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, smoked paprika, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes.
  • Marinate the Ribs: Place ribs in a dish or resealable bag. Pour marinade over, ensuring even coating. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best flavor.
  • Preheat the Grill: Set to medium heat (about 350°F) and oil the grates.
  • Grill the Ribs: Cook ribs bone side down for 30-40 minutes, flipping occasionally and basting with leftover marinade.
  • Caramelize the Glaze: In the last 5 minutes, brush additional honey over ribs to enhance the sticky glaze.
  • Rest and Serve: Let ribs rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Spicy Kick: Add more red pepper flakes or sriracha.
  • Smoky Flavor: Use a charcoal grill with wood chips.
  • Oven Alternative: Bake at 300°F for 2.5-3 hours, then broil for a caramelized finish.
  • Meat Variations: Try beef ribs or chicken wings with the same marinade.
