Description

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)

Instructions

  1. Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth with a few small lumps.
  2. Add melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold into wet ingredients.
  4. Gently stir in chocolate chips, reserving some for topping.
  5. Pour batter into a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan and sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
