Description

  • 812 slices ham
  • 46 slices cheese (Swiss, cheddar, or gruyère)
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for glazing)
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds or sesame seeds (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice the croissants in half horizontally, keeping them connected at the hinge.
  • Spread Dijon mustard inside each croissant if using.
  • Layer ham and cheese inside each croissant evenly.
  • Melt butter and mix with honey or maple syrup (if using).
  • Brush the tops of the croissants with the butter mixture.
  • Sprinkle with poppy seeds or sesame seeds if desired.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.
