- 1/2 cup chicken broth or water
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- Lemon or calamansi wedges (for serving)

Instructions
- Prepare the Noodles: Soak rice noodles in warm water until softened (about 10 minutes). If using egg noodles, blanch them in boiling water, then drain and set aside.
- Cook the Protein: Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Cook chicken, pork, or shrimp until fully done. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Sauté Aromatics: In the same pan, add more oil if needed. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
- Add Vegetables: Stir in carrots, cabbage, and snow peas or green beans. Stir-fry for a couple of minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
- Combine Ingredients: Return cooked protein to the pan and mix with vegetables.
- Season the Dish: Pour in soy sauce, fish sauce, and chicken broth. Stir well to combine.
- Add the Noodles: Toss in softened noodles, mixing them with the sauce and ingredients until fully coated and heated through.
- Final Touches: Sprinkle black pepper to taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Garnish and Serve: Transfer to a serving platter, garnish with green onions, and serve with lemon or calamansi wedges.
