- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar or lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 2 tbsp green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
. Prepare the Salmon
- Cut salmon fillets into bite-sized cubes and pat dry with a paper towel.
- Season with salt and pepper, then lightly coat with cornstarch or flour for extra crispiness.
2. Cook the Salmon
- Heat olive oil or butter in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add salmon cubes and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove salmon from the pan and set aside.
3. Make the Honey Garlic Sauce
- In the same pan, sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar or lemon juice.
- Simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
4. Coat the Salmon
- Return the cooked salmon bites to the pan and toss in the sauce until well coated.
5. Serve and Enjoy
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
- Serve over rice, noodles, or as a standalone dish.
