- 4 large potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Potatoes: Wash and cut potatoes into thin, uniform fries.
- Soak the Fries: Place in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry.
- Season the Fries: Toss fries in a large bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Bake the Fries: Spread fries in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, flip, and bake another 15-20 minutes until crispy.
- Add Parmesan: Sprinkle Parmesan over fries in the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from oven, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve immediately.
