Instructions

1. Prepare Ingredients

  • Chop the garlic and onion.
  • Halve cherry tomatoes if using fresh.

2. Sauté Aromatics

  • Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add onions and garlic, sautéing until fragrant and soft.

3. Cook the Tomatoes

  • Add cherry tomatoes (or canned diced tomatoes) and tomato paste.
  • Cook until tomatoes soften and release their juices.

4. Add Seasoning & Broth

  • Stir in Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.

5. Cook the Tortellini
