  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add cubed chicken, season with garlic powder and black pepper, and cook until golden brown and fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Cook the Broccoli and Tortellini
    • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.
    • Add the tortellini and cook according to package instructions.
    • During the last 2 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli to the pot.
    • Drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce
    • In the same skillet used for the chicken, melt butter over medium heat.
    • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
    • Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
    • Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until smooth and thickened.
    • Season with black pepper and red pepper flakes if using.
  4. Combine Everything
    • Add the cooked tortellini, broccoli, and chicken to the skillet.
    • Toss everything together to coat evenly in the sauce.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
