Description

Crack Burgers are the ultimate grilled burger, known for their juicy, cheesy, and flavorful profile. Perfect for backyard barbecues and burger enthusiasts, this recipe combines simplicity with incredible taste for a mouthwatering experience every time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef (preferably 80/20 for juiciness) – Ninja Mega Kitchen Power System for prepping and mixing
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese or your favorite melting cheese
  • 4 burger buns, toasted lightly
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard
  • Butter or oil for toasting the buns

Instructions

  1. Begin by gently mixing the ground beef with salt and black pepper in a bowl. Do not overmix, as this can make the burgers tough. Divide the mixture into four equal-sized patties, slightly larger than your buns.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, flipping once. During the last minute, add a slice of cheese on top of each burger to melt.
  3. While the burgers cook, butter the buns lightly and toast them on the grill until golden brown.
  4. Assemble the crack burgers by placing the cheesy patty on the bottom bun, add your favorite toppings, then cap with the top bun. Optional: add spicy sauces or cowboy butter for extra flavor.

Notes

  • Use ground beef with about 20% fat content for juicier burgers.
  • Avoid overhandling the meat to keep the burgers tender.
  • Consider adding additional toppings like bacon or avocado for a gourmet touch.
