    Streusel Topping:

    • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
    • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep Muffin Tin – Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease lightly.
  2. Make Streusel – In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and melted butter until crumbly. Set aside.
  3. Prepare Dry Ingredients – In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Cream Butter & Sugars – In another bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add Wet Ingredients – Mix in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract and sour cream (or Greek yogurt).
  6. Combine Everything – Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, alternating with milk, and stir until just combined.
  7. Fill Muffin Cups – Spoon batter into muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
  8. Add Streusel – Generously sprinkle streusel topping over each muffin.
  9. Bake – Bake for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Cool & Serve – Let cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar.
