Ingredients
Scale
- 100g milk chocolate
- 100g dark chocolate
- 50g unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp golden syrup
- 100g cornflakes or shredded wheat
- Mini chocolate eggs (for decoration)
Instructions
- Melt the Chocolate Mixture – In a heatproof bowl, melt the milk chocolate, dark chocolate, butter, and golden syrup together over a saucepan of simmering water, stirring until smooth.
- Prepare the Cereal – Place the cornflakes or shredded wheat in a large mixing bowl. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal and gently stir until evenly coated.
- Shape the Nests – Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Spoon the chocolate-covered cereal onto the tray in small mound-like shapes, using the back of a spoon to create a small indentation in the center.
- Add the Eggs – While the mixture is still warm, place a few mini chocolate eggs in the center of each nest.
- Set and Harden – Allow the nests to cool at room temperature or refrigerate for about an hour until fully set.
- Serve and Enjoy – Once firm, enjoy these adorable Easter treats!
